"broommates" style test

It's official! Dan Fulton and I are making a webcomic!

"Broommates" is a comic following the witches Diana, Sage, and Addison as they navigate the waters of mortal college.

These ladies have been in the works for a while now, and we're so excited to get them out into the world. Dan is doing the writing and I am doing the art. We're releasing the first few pages on Halloween and will continue to update weekly after that. I hope you're as excited as we are!!

I finished a few paintings for my first ever gallery show last weekend! It was a big collaboration called "Chocolate & Art" featuring many Los Angeles based artists. I don't have good pictures of the paintings yet, but these were taken at the show.

I know what you're thinking. This girl looks absolutely NOTHING like the girl I posted before. My film has changed so much! But it's for the better. I just can't figure out what her name should be. She doesn't seem like a Lily anymore!

Artemis

My contribution to this week's Sketchbook Society theme, Greek Mythology. I chose Artemis! I really wanted to do Diana; she's my favorite for some weird, super nerdy reasons. But since Diana's Roman Mythology I went with her Greek equivalent, Artemis! I spent waaaay too long making her and her little deer friend. Now back to my film!

My friends and I started a weekly theme blog! It's called "The Sketchbook Society." Check it out here! For the first week the theme was Marine Life. Naturally, I did a mermaid. Actually, I did about 20000 mermaids and you'll find out about them in my next post. :)

The different colors are for different parts of the film, her name is Lily, and I think I like that pattern the best for her tights.

I've never been more impressed with Flash than right now. I was attempting to export some images to use for my business cards for CTN, the files were huge, and this is what Flash gave me. I'm in love! They look super badass! I wish I could take full credit! Click on the images for close-up badassery!
