These last months in Utah have been a whirlwind of craziness. New stuff that's been happening? I'm going to Ireland! I leave in eight days and I'll be gone for an entire month. Then I'll only have two months after that before moving back to California. I'm not necessarily excited to leave Utah again, but I am excited to finish my degree and enter the industry. Anyway, onward to my last few months... (no paradox intended)


I delved into the world of figure painting. That was my first in a series of 20 minute self portraits, all done in oil. None of them really look like me, but they turned out cool none the less. Here are two more of my favs:

We also did some model painting. The first one was a three day pose, the second a two day. In other news, I've never seen anyone as skinny as second model. Holy. Cow.



And, of course, I had to throw in some giraffes. These are the first real watercolors I've ever done. In fact, I believe they may be the ONLY real watercolors I have ever done. I'd love to continue working in both water color and oil.
